Mezzo-Soprano Heather Johnson began her relationship with City Opera in 2004 playing the role of Annina is Verdi's La Traviata. Heather joins us again singing the title role in Michael Gordon and Deborah Artman's Acquanetta at VOX this Friday and Saturday. Heather is no stranger to new opera, creating the role of Soroya in the world premiere of Charles Wuorinen's Haroun and the Sea of Stories at City Opera.
